establishment of the Pi Beta Phi Settlement School in Gatlinburg,
Tennessee. In celebration of this great accomplishment, and to honor
the Fraternity’s past 100 years of philanthropic service, Pi Beta Phi
will be hosting a celebration in Gatlinburg November 2–3, 2012. A new
Centennial Plaza will be dedicated with a historical marker and statue,
adjacent to the site of the Arrowcraft shop and just steps away from Pi
Beta Phi Elementary School.
The day is set aside in special recognition of the example Carrie set for the Fraternity in her deep, lifelong loyalty to her chapter. On this day, each alumna is to remember her own chapter.

Pi Beta Phi invites you to join us in celebrating this year by wearing narrow wine and blue ribbons under your badge .
Unknownnoreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7107528699869670796.post-54079194721173817532009-12-03T12:35:00.001-05:002009-12-03T12:36:22.641-05:00Fraternity Day of Service
Pi Beta Phi will once again be celebrating Fraternity Day of Service with the Make Your Mark for Literacy bookplate campaign. Your event should be planned on or around March 2, 2010 — Dr. Seuss’ birthday!

After last year’s Fraternity Day of Service, many Pi Phi alumnae clubs provided Headquarters with feedback about their events. Many groups began planning their events months in advance. Because of this, we wanted to get your bookplates to you even earlier to make your planning easier.

All alumnae clubs will receive 50 bookplates for their 2010 Fraternity Day of Service project. For those clubs planning large events, we would be happy to send your club additional bookplates. Please e-mail Special Events Coordinator Julie Ravensberg at julier@pibetaphi.org to order. Additional bookplates will be available on a first-come, first-served basis.

Need more information?
Visit the Fraternity Day of Service Web page and download your 2010 toolkit, event ideas, media tips and a sample press release.
Unknownnoreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7107528699869670796.post-54933012942201340932009-12-01T14:21:00.001-05:002009-12-01T14:23:15.738-05:00Continuing Education OpportunitiesPi Beta Phi Foundation Scholarships are due Jan 31, 2010

There are several scholarships specifically earmarked for alumnae.

Click here for more information.Unknownnoreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7107528699869670796.post-45144866248562550522009-11-13T10:00:00.001-05:002009-11-12T16:14:26.965-05:00Due Date & Reminders

November 15
All Fraternity club officers, international and regional
officers, AAC and CHC members must pay dues by this date.

All Clubs need to file 990-N

Unknownnoreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7107528699869670796.post-24373250174551300612009-11-12T16:02:00.004-05:002009-11-12T16:10:38.609-05:00Nashville's Christmas Village - this weekend!Nashville Alumnae Club's Christmas Village is this weekend at the Tennessee State Fairgrounds.
