142 years . . .

Pi Beta Phi Celebrates Founders' Day

On April 28, 1867, at Monmouth College in Monmouth, Illinois, 12 women began I.C. Sorosis, which became Pi Beta Phi. Happy Founders' Day to all of our members! Click here to watch a short video celebrating Pi Phi's 142 years of friendship!

North Carolina Triangle - Fraternity Day of Service

The North Carolina Triangle Alumnae Club celebrated Fraternity Day of Service with the Brentwood Boy & Girls Club of Raleigh.

Pi Beta Phi alumnae members donated books to the Boys & Girls Club and read favorite Dr. Seuss’ stories to the children.

The six to nine year olds decorated the “Make your Mark on Literacy” bookplates for First Book.

The afternoon activity focused on literacy and both the children and the volunteers had a wonderful time!

Ring Ching Ching for Literacy!

In late March, the DeLand, Florida Alumnae Club celebrated spring with their Ring Ching Ching for Literacy meeting. Club members gathered at Mary Ethel Prather's beautiful home located on the St. John's River.


Agenda items included club elections, review of the successful bookplate project, and enthusiastic singing of a Pi Phi favorite "Ring Ching Ching".

Kentucky Pi Phis & First Book


Earlier this week, Pi Phis in the bluegrass state lent a hand to First Book.

Members of the Louisville Alumnae Club and collegiate members of Kentucky Alpha (University of Louisville) packed up brand new books and assisted in labeling the packages. The recipients of the books are low-income populations.

First Book envisions a world where all children have an enriched learning environment
with new books and educational resources of their own.

The Mississippi Gamma Chapter of Pi Beta Phi at Mississippi State University was installed the weekend of April 4. Pi Beta Phi is happy to announce that 70 new women joined the organization
